The most important actions you will make in Drug Wars - Underworld are the buying and selling of products. These actions are critical to the game...they are how you make money.

Buying Products |  Selling Products |  Dropping Products

Buying Products

To make money, you need to sell products for a profit. To get products to sell, you need to buy something. Products are bought from the Market. Ideally, buy a product when it is cheap, and sell it when the price is high.

When you buy a product, the quantity you purchase is placed in your inventory, and the amount of money you spent is deducted from your cash.

You can buy a product several different ways:

• Double Click - Double click any item in the Market to buy it.
• Buy Button - Select an item to buy, and click the Buy button on the Action Toolbar
• Press 'B' - Select a product in the Market and press B on your keyboard.

When you are buying a product, you will be prompted to enter the quantity you would like to buy. The amount you can buy is limited by three factors...

• You cannot...spend more money than you have in cash.
• You cannot...carry more than your available trenchcoat space.
• You cannot...buy more than is available in the market.

Many times, you'll want to simply buy the most you can of a product. You can use a keyboard shortcut to quickly buy the maximum of any product. Select the product and press CTRL+B

Selling Products

Once you have purchased products, you'll want to sell them in a different location where the price is higher. Products are always sold from your current inventory, you cannot sell products you don't have.

When you sell a product, the product is moved from your inventory into the Market, and the money you receive is added to your cash balance.

You can sell a product three different ways:

• Double Click - Double click any item in your inventory to sell it.
• Sell Button - Select an item to sell, and click the Sell button on the Action Toolbar
• Press 'S' - Select a product in your inventory and press S on your keyboard.

When selling product, you will be prompted to enter the quantity to sell. You can sell as many as you'd like, up to the amount that you have in your inventory. To quickly sell all of product, select the product and press CTRL+S.

Be aware that in some locations, nobody will want to buy your product. If you don't see a product available in the Market, it is not currently 'in use' at this location, and nobody will pay you any money for it.

Dropping Products

Occassionally, you'll end up in a situation where you have product on hand that you either cannot sell (nobody wants to buy it), or you don't want to sell (you've got billions of dollars in cash, and don't really care about a two dollar profit). In these situations, you can drop product to free up inventory space.

To drop a product...

• Drop Button - Select an item to drop, and click the Drop button on the Action Toolbar
• Press 'D' - Select a product in your inventory and press D on your keyboard.

You will be prompted to enter the quantity to drop. To drop all of the selected product, just press CTRL+D to drop the maximum amount.
