FairGame is free software to remove DRM protection from iTunes Music. But now, this application can only run at Mac OS.
FairGame is designed to convert the songs you purchased on the iTunes music store to an unprotected format (using iTunes default encoder) and keep all the original metadata, lyrics and artwork. FairGame doesn’t do lossless DRM stripping. It re-encodes protected AAC files purchased in ITMS into unprotected AAC file using Apple’s iMovie software.
This application is very useful to convert protected iTunes AAC to unprotected iTunes AAC. Before using this powerful program. Two things you should pay attention to.
1. After install the application. Please enable “Access for assistive devices” in the “Universal Access” system preference.
2. Select “Place clip in Movie Timeline” in the “Import” preference of iMovie HD.
How do you convert iTunes protected AAC music to unprotected music?
- 1. Select the target songs you want convert in iTunes
- 2. Click on the “Process songs” button
- 3. Then don’t touch anything and wait until it’s done…(FairGame is scripting iMovie’s interface to process the songs, don’t interfere)
