    HP Compaq Business Desktop ROMPaq CPT002 Firmware 5.61 Rev.A is Firmware driver from HP.
    This package contains a utility to update the System BIOS (ROM) for the supported desktop models (with a CPT002 ROM Family). This utility works with the supported operating systems.

    ENHANCEMENTS:
    - Implements solutions to optimize Power-On Self-Test (POST) time in order to meet the Microsoft Windows 7 velocity requirement.

    FIXES:
    - Corrects the processor description string that is displayed in the BIOS Setup screen.

    - Removes an extraneous white stripe that is displayed during POST when the Security option is enabled to the "system" setting.

    PREREQUISITES:
    None

    INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
    WARNING: DO NOT TURN OFF POWER OR ATTEMPT TO REBOOT THE COMPUTER DURING THE UPDATE PROCESS!

    1. Download the file by clicking the "Download" or "Obtain Software" button and saving the file to a folder on your hard drive (make a note of the folder where the downloaded file is saved).

    2. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. After the files are unpacked, flash.bat runs automatically to update the BIOS.

    NOTE: After the files have been unpacked, the file that was downloaded in Step 1 can be deleted, if desired.
