Follow the procedure below to remove the Sony® USB Storage Media driver.

NOTE: This procedure may need to be completed while in Safe Mode to properly remove the devices .

1. Click Start , point to Settings , and click Control Panel .
2. In the Control Panel window, double-click the System icon.
3. In the System Properties window, click the Device Manager tab.
4. On the Device Manager tab, click to select Sony USB Storage Media .
5. Click the Remove button.
6. In the Confirm Device Removal window, click the OK button.
7. Click the Close button .
8. Repeat this procedure if any unknown devices are listed in Device Manager.
9. Restart the computer.
