iDumpVideo2iPod is an application designed to help you convert your existing video files and DVD’s to a format which can be imported to your iPod or iTunes.

This program has not been tested on 64 bit Windows.

Source files
Converts from most of the common types of media file for example: wmv, avi, flv,
tivo, mpeg and mjpeg, m4v, mp4, mov.

Output format
Converts source files to iPhone or normal iPods keeping file sizes as small as possible.

Easy to use
All complicated settings are done automatically by the application. All you need to do is select source file and where to put the converted file and click start.

Samples
Before conversion, you can select to sample the source. The application will extract a piece of the source video, convert it and then display the results.

Importing
You can import any of the converted files in to iTunes or on to a selected iPod. Check the items you wish to transfer and click on the import button. its that simple.

DVD Ripping
You can copy your collection of home made DVDs. If you wish to backup your collection of purchased DVDs that you obtained from your local store. You will need to install and run a 3rd party program before you use this program to copy the encrypted DVD.

Tags
You can set the file tags and define the video as Video, Podcast or TV Show.

Other information
Due to ever changing methods used by DVD distributers to stop programs like iDumpVideo2iPod from reading a DVD disc, it is not always possible to backup a film. We do our best to try and create work-around but there is no guarantee.

Some conversion programs do not always create files in a good way and iDumpVideo2iPod may take a long time in some rare instances to perform what’s known as “Single Frame analysis mode”. If you see this while a conversion is in progress, it may take an extra hour or two to complete the conversion.

You need to make sure your security software allows iDumpVideo2iPod to run unrestricted. If this program fails to run, please check your security software logs.
