Pros: It is easy to use and nearly needs no RAM.
Cons: The original time is 0:00:00, which could not be set by you.
Benefits:
Some times you need to know how much time you’ve spent on one job, or to note the time an experiment takes. Time 12 is a good helper to get the job done. As its name says, there are 12 individually controllable timers which could be running simultaneously or independently. You also could add/remove an image for each timer; start/stop/reset the time any time you want; it is quite easy to control this utility, even if you’re a green hand. However, every program’s version 1 contains some bugs or not considering thoroughly. For instance, if I want to let some of the 12 timers run simultaneously, I have to click the START buttons one by one, there would be a little time-difference, it is not allowable in some accurate experiments. So if there is a function - users could choose the amount of the timers they want to use and just click one button to let them work simultaneously. This would be considerate, isn’t it? When I try this program, I have found that if I want to stop timing, I click the right side of "STOP" on the button
Set up:
The setup file is 1.62MB, it is a light weight utility, and 3MB disk space is quite enough for installation. There is no spyware or adware combined with this program. Following the navigation, you could easily install Time 12.
Should you ever want to uninstall this program? The uninstallation is as easy as installation, Time12 offers a quick door to remove itself, after reboot; there would be a folder (Cyborg Software) left in your PC need removing manually. Here I have something to tell you to avoid this thing. When you choose the path to install this utility (the default one is “C:\Program Files\Cyborg Software\Timer 12”), delete “Cyborg Software” before you install the program. Now, you uninstall Time 12, it would be totally removed.
Interface:
The background is black, and the time is colored orange, it fairly strikes the eye. All the functions you could get from the buttons’ self-explanation. In short, it is quite easy to use.
System Requirements:
Time 12 is compatible with all Windows OS, the hardware requirements could be ignored, since it is such a light weight one that the average configuration of today’s PC is far beyond its requirement.
Conclusion:
If you have ever had the need for timing anything this software is a great utility for you. Although there is some flaws in this version, its ease of use and other strongly features still make Time 12 outstanding among its competitors.
