FontTwister lets you create impressive text effects for web pages, illustrations, multimedia projects and presentations in seconds. Add glows, bevels, embossing, transparency, texture, edges, soft shadows and blurs to your text or apply one of the dozens of built-in styles.
FontTwister is a very compact program (2.8 MB, zipped: 1.3MB). It does not need OpenGL, DirectX or other libraries. FontTwister is fast, because FontTwister was developed and optimized at a PC with 166MHz, 32 MB RAM. The setup program does not modify your system (does not copy any dll file to system folder or change the registry).
Feature:
FontTwister contains more than 50 professional styles which can be changed and enlarged as much as you liked. Many further text effects can be created fast and simply with the random text effect generator.
The entered text can be changed any time. The letters can be by chance put more highly and more deeply or tilted to the left and to the right. Make the text transparent to let the background show through.
Fill text and background with a color, a color gradient or a texture. You can use every graphic file as texture, which can be dye, turn, draw more softly or more sharply. An imprint can be added to the text.
The text can be moved, stretch or compressed, rotated or sheared, deformed or twisted as much as you liked. Select available text shape or simply draw your desired text shape.
You have the letter outlines from loose threads, on-rough or weather. Fix manner and fineness of the effect by mouse click. You determine the effect intensity by adjusting the strength of the effects in x and y direction.
To let the font display 3 dimensional, the edges get beveled. Choose a predefined bevel profile and change it afterwards. You can change the bevel height, size and profile. Widen the edge to inside or to the outside of the letter.
The text could be deposited with a shadow to stand out from the background or to float in to space. Select a shadow from predefined examples or change directly color, transparency, blur and position of the shadow.
You can create quite simply a 3D button, a fade effect or an impressive frame around the text. Change the frame thickness and color as well as the number for the corners of the stellate frame.
