It brings you a neat Clock with Calendar: you will always know not only the current time but also the current date, day of the week and the month.

It's also very useful for finding out the current position of the Sun and the Moon in the sky (including the current Phase of the Moon). You can get the manual control over the screensaver and speed up the time or easily switch the current day - just press 'F1' button in running screensaver to find out how.
