DirectShow FilterPack is a lite-weight package of DirectShow media filters which, together with FFDShow, will enable you to play many different kinds of encoded/encrypted audio and video with your favorite DirectShow media player.
DSFP mainly consists of source/splitter filters and that's why you'll need FFDShow to decode. You won't find codecs in DSFP!
There are two DSFP versions available; a normal-version and a lite-version. The main difference between them is that the lite-version doesn't contain the lossless Source filters.
