CAM Wizards Main Application Window |
Below screenshot is CAM Wizards main window. There are 4 buttons accross the top:
Register Online
Takes you to the registration screen from where you can quicky complete online registration. Registering will give you the fully functional version of CAM Wizard with customer support. After registering this becomes a shortcut to this userguide.
Setup Options
Allows you to set up the application, click here for more info. Browse Video
Enables you to browse video that CAM Wizard has managed to capture.
Click here for more info.
Record Video
Starts a quick movie shoot.

The Setup Window
After you've made changes in the setup window, you should apply them using the "OK" button. Pressing the "Cancel" button will cause CAM Wizard to revert to the settings that it had before you entered the setup screen.
The "Online Help" button gives one click access to this help web-page.
The "Get New Version" button checks online for a newer version of CAM Wizard, if a newer version is found then you are prompted to download it and install it.
The "About CAM Wizard" button shows an inormation window detailing the software version, with scrolling credits and optional MP3 credits music. back top |
The screen shot below shows the windows explorer window that opens when the user clicks the "browse captured video" button.
The videos are all in WMV format and will play just fine with Windows Media Player.
Many other security cam software solutions require special software to view the captured movies, CAM Wizard uses a standard highly compressed windows format (.WMV) so you can watch it on any windows computer. back top |

Shoot a Quick Video
The user should take these steps to shoot a quick timestamped video:

Line up your shot using the video window to see what you're doing, much like you would use a view finder on a still camera.

In CAM Wizards main window press the "record video" button, this will cause the movie to start recording into a WMV file. The WMV file will be named "SHOOT_timesatamp.wmv" and it will appear in the "Browse Video" folder.

Press the "stop recording" button after you have filmed your desired action shot. back top
