It extends Microsoft Indexing Service to extract metadata and content from Writer, Global, Calc, Impress, Draw and Math files.

StarOffice IFilter supports Windows SharePoint Services (WSS), Site Server, Internet Information Server, SharePoint Portal Server, Exchange, SQL Serverand all other products based on Microsoft Search technology.
