Snappy Fax 4.14.1.1 Send and Receive Faxes from your computer, use your scanner for faxing
Review by Michael E. Callahan aka Dr. File Finder
Snappy Fax 2000, by John Taylor & Associates, is a neat program for sending faxes from within any Windows program. The interface is intuitive and the program is easy-to-use. It's perfect for users with all levels of computer experience, and it's loaded with options. It can automatically forward faxes to either an e-mail address or a fax machine. It also supports a wide range of scanners including any that are compatible with the Twain standard as well as other scanners. You can even send faxes via e-mail, as an attachment or an image. Pretty cool. The program even lets you capture images from multiple programs and then combine those images into a single fax.
Snappy Fax 2000 can do even more and it does it well. For example, it can send your fax to a Web site where you, or someone else, can view the fax with a browser. A feature I really liked is the ability to filter out junk faxes. It supports fax queuing so you can send faxes out on-demand or at a particular time and date. Another cool feature is support for Optical Character Recognition which allows you to generate text you can edit right from a fax. You can save faxes as a PDF file, manipulate images in a variety of ways, and maintain an address book that you can import from Microsoft Outlook.
Snappy Fax 2000 is a full, and I do mean full, featured fax program that does everything you'd need it to do and more. Beside everything else it does you can also use it to design cover pages. Need to resend a fax? No problem ... you can send all of it or just specific page with just a few mouse clicks. It doesn't get any easier than that. So, if you've been looking for a program to handle all of your needs when it comes to faxing, check out Snappy Fax 2000. It's got a ton of power under the hood.
