    Requirements of MySQL Migration Toolkit:

  • Windows 2000/XP or Windows NT 4 with Internet Explorer 5 or later or Windows 98/ME or Windows 95 with Internet Explorer 5 or later
  • MS Access 7.0 or higher (ODBC is not required).
  • Necessary privileges to read the source database on MySQL server.
  • MS SQL environment (server or client components of MS SQL should be installed on the same machine where you run MSSQL-to-MySQL from)
  • Oracle client and networking components should be installed on the same machine where you run MySQL-to-Oracle from.


    Limitations of MySQL Migration Toolkit:

  • It will allow you to convert only five records for each database table.
