Atlantis Word Processor, by Atlantis is a powerful, yet easy-to-use word processor that's a great alternative to Word. The program is extremely easy-to-use and very intuitive, perfect for both new and experienced users. In testing it out I liked the fact that the program gave me lots of configurable options. For example, you can change around the colors, hot keys, even the programs toolbars. Slick. Another cool feature is that the Atlantis Word Processor can go "portable!" I installed it to my Sandisk USB drive with all my other portable applications and it worked perfectly. It does everything most people need in a word processor. You can format text, have headers and footers, bullets, and lots more. The program also has a cool feature called "Power Type" that learns the words and phrases you type the most. Then, as you're typing it anticipates what you're working on writing and makes it easy to fill in the rest of the word or phrase. The Atlantis Word Processor handles the hyphenation, has a full-featured spell checker, and a built-in "Auto Complete" feature. With powerful search capability, the ability to encrypt your files, and lots more, the Atlantis Word Processor is both powerful and sleek. So, if you are looking for a word processor that won't cost you an arm and a leg, this may be just the solution you need. Check it out for yourself.
