Tag Backup & Restore - Audio tag archiver, supporting AAC, APE, FLAC, M4A, MP3, MP4, MPC, OGG, VQF, and WMA tags If you're a serious audiofile you've invested considerable time and effort in your tags. They can be more troublesome or more difficult to replace than the audio itself.

Tag Backup & Restore will protect your investment by backing up tags to any one of three possible archive types. Once archived, you have full control of what to restore. Recreate a single tag field or a whole library of tags. Tag Backup & Restore is built around an excellent real-time tag editor and file renamer, too

Backups Types Supported

  • MS Access 2000 database file (.mdb): Backs up both text and binary fields, including pictures and objects. Backs up multiple instances of tag fields that support multiples (comments, pictures, etc). Includes backup of sub-field tag data, such as language and descriptions information. No limitations on size or type of tag field content.
  • MS Excel Worksheet file (.xls): Backs up text fields. Text storage length limited by cell data length accepted by worksheet. Edit your tags in Excel, if you like, then import the changes into your tags.
  • Delimited Text file (.csr): Backs up text fields. No limitation on size of text fields

    When you're not backing up or retoring, TBR doubles as a first-class tag editor. Auto-fill, Find, Find All, Find & Replace, print tags, save to mutiple file formats. Choose which tag fields to make visible and in what order they appear.

    Store album art, artist scans, and other files in tags for safe-keeping and one-click access. View, store, extract, rearrange, or remove pictures and other objects. Copy or paste them, or move them around from tag to tag. Future upgrades are free
