PolderbitS Sound Recorder and Editor, by PolderbitS Softwareis a really cool program that lets you digitize recordings.What's cool about that? Well, it means you can take recordings onrecords and tapes and get them ready to put on CD. For those who don'tknow a record is a vinyl disc that sounds are recorded on.

In testing it out I also found that Polderbits Sound Recorder andEditor can also be used to edit the recordings you make withit. If you wish you can also use it for basic recording tasks. Theeditor portion allows you to save files as MP3 or WAV files while alsoletting you listen to the file. Another cool feature is the ability tofade out, or in. I had some fun playing with the program and tinkeringwith old recordings that I'd digitized. You can get rid of hiss andclicks, and clean up your recordings before burning them to CD. So, ifyou have old recording on tapes and/or records that you'd like to savegive Polderbits Sound Recorder and Editor a try. Perfect!
