Movie Label 2008, by Code|Aero is a perfect solution for anyone who has a lot of movies and would actually like to be able to find them.
What I really like about this product is that your movies can be in a wide range of formats. That means you can catalog DVDs, VHS, and movies on your hard drive. That's important because more and more you can download movies from a number of sources. In many cases you aren't allowed to burn them to DVD so they have to stay on your computer. Movie Label 2008 makes it easy to quickly find exactly where a particular movie is. You can even print out reports with information about your collection.
In testing it out I found it to be easy-to-use and intuitive, perfect for users will all levels of experience. One feature I really like is the ability to keep track of loans. That's right, the program lets you keep track of who you loaned a movie to so you can ask for it back. Slick. The program also makes it really easy to search through your collection, no matter how big it is, and find what you're looking for. There's also a handy sort feature and you can sort your movies in a variety of ways. Also, just as with music, information about movies is downloaded from a database online so you don't have to enter everything manually. You can also have more than one collection which is nice for dealing with multiple people or just breaking your collection down into parts.
Movie Label 2008 is one of those programs that's easy-to-use, but has a lot of power under the hood. So, if you have a lot of movies and you'd really like to get a handle on them, take a good look at Movie Label 2008. I recommend it.
