Good:

Mobile Music Polyphonic is a professional utility for transforming music formats into different ones, which could convert MP3, WAV and MIDI files to mobile phone ringtone format, and export standard MIDI, SP MIDI and MMF formats. It also converts MID to MMF, MMF to MID and standard MIDI to SP MIDI, WAV to MMF, MP3 to MMF and MP3 to WAV.


Bad:

The interface doesn’t leave a good impression on me. First, I could not find the minimize button and close button. I’m used to clicking on the right top corner but there aren’t the default buttons. After a while, I found “close” button on the right bottom corner, but I haven’t found “minimize button” yet.


Setup

It doesn’t take a long time to download and install. The latest version is 3.1 and the file size is about 5.95MB. Oh, fortunately it is not a big guy. It is said that version 3.1 is a bug fixing release to mend the former version.

There still be a flaw—it doesn’t provide a quick door for us to uninstall! Once you are fed up with it and want to uninstall, you have to remove it from your Control Panel.


Interface

As I’ve mentioned above, some buttons are not designed as we are accustomed to. Except for this section, the interface is still a beautiful one. There are some guidelines to tell us how to get familiar with it.

There are several choices for changing its skin—there are three different default ones in it or you can select your favorite picture as its skin. It is different from the similar software; also, it is attractive. See the Following:

You could write your own music through it and save the music files as polyphonic ringtone format; also, there is a function offering for transforming your music to cell phone. Isn’t it powerful? There are so many music formats that you may love one of them or more. Absolutely, it’s a powerful tool for music conversion.


System requirements

It gets well along with Windows operating systems, excluding Win95. You have to release 6RM to store it, which can be ignored since there is 80G space or more in our computer disk. It requires your RAM be 64M that is also no hard task to accomplish.


Conclusion

Mobile Music Polyphonic is a fairly master utility for converting music formats, but it doesn’t fit a greenhorn to fiddle with since it’s a strong functional tool. If you are a feverish music fan and know a lot about musical knowledge, it is a strong recommendation. Some users complain it because of its “fancy” buttons—which is not practical enough for music laypeople to use it.

Ouch! It is so limited if you download a free version—transform your music? OK, just 10 seconds if you don’t register. I don’t think it good enough, for the transformed music file is not a complete one; people cannot enjoy the essence of the software.
