Pros: The detailed Audio Setup Wizard makes the whole recording process quite easy. Both the stability and quality are excellent.
Cons: There are too many parameters on the panel, for an experienced user, that would be nice, while to a beginner, that would not be intuitive.
The Bottom Line: liteRecorder is a nice choice if you only want to record audio. Sometimes we wanna record both audio and video, liteRecorder does not work in this situation. Here, liteCam is recommended, it contains all the functions liteRecorder offers, and it could also record video.
When I was surfing the internet, I always listened some music. Sometimes, I wanted to have an audition about new songs to find my favorite ones. Because they are new, some of them didn’t offer us download link. I could not transfer them to my MP3 player, untill I fould liteRecorder. See a screen shot of this program:

liteRecorder is a powerful audio recorder, it allows us to record audio from any type of movie playing on a computer screen (whether it is streaming or non-streaming), and save them to 4 different audio formats including MP3, WAV, WMA and OGG These formats are 100% compatible with any digital music device like iPod.
The interface of liteRecorder is not intuitive, and it contains no semi-transparent elements, which the most popular OS Windows Vista does. However, there is a detailed built-in Audio Setup Wizard, which automatically detects the sound card on your computer. So we won't need to configure audio devices for Microphone recording or external audio device. It is friendly and supplements the complicated interface.
Sometimes I found some actor's lines are brilliant, I wanna extract the audio file and tranfer it to my MP3 player. With liteRecorder's Timer Recording feature, I don't have to wait until the recording is done. Just setting a timer to tell liteRecorder when to stop, it will do the rest things for you. You could also select the option to turn your computer off when recording finishes.
System Requirements:
liteRecorder is compatible with Windows Vista, and it need Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0, DirectX 8.0 and Microsoft Windows Media Player 9.0 or higher.
The hardware requirements are IBM Compatible PC, Pentium 500 MHz (1.5 GHz or faster is recommended), 256 MB of memory or higher (512 MB or higher is recommended), 16 MB of video card (32 MB or better is recommended) and Sound card that support Full Duplexing.
My computer’s configurations are CPU: AMD Sempron 1.75GHz, RAM: 512MB, Hard disk: 80GB, Video card: 64MB and my Sound card support Full Dulexing. When I used liteRecorder to record a streaming song, it occupied 11,664KB RAM, which is too little to affect other programs.

Conclusion:
To make liteRecorder appeal to a maximum number of users, innoheim has made this product extraordinary at powerful functions. Its excellent performance and low cost deserves strongly recommended.
