The application gives you the power to create, view, and share 3D models and 2D drawings eDrawings is a free software that lets you view and print eDrawings (eDRW, ePRT, eASM), DXF, and DWG format files.

eDrawings is a freeware utility which will give the user the power to view, create and share 3D models and 2D drawings.

Collaborate more effectively with everyone involved in product development by using eDrawings software, the first email-enabled communication tool that dramatically eases sharing of product design information.

Fast, reliable, and convenient, eDrawings files supply accurate representations of 3D models and 2D drawings created with the most widely used CAD systems on the market. eDrawings offers unique capabilities like point-and-click animations that make it easy for anyone with a PC to interpret and understand 2D and 3D design data.

Here are some key features of "eDrawings":

  • Viewing native documents in the eDrawings Viewer, such as SolidWorks (*.sldprt, *.sldasm, and *.slddrw) and AutoCAD (*.dxf and *.dwg) documents.
  • Creating eDrawings files from your CAD application

  • Viewing COSMOSWorks and COSMOSXpress analysis data

    Requirements:
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 and higher
  • Mozilla Firefox 1.0 and higher (Windows operating system only)
  • Netscape 7.1 and higher (Windows operating system only)

    One of the following applications:
  • AutoCAD version R14.x, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2005, or 2006 (NOTE: eDrawings opens DXF/DWG files directly, including MDT files)
  • CATIA V5 R10, R11, R12, R13, R14, R15, R16
  • IntelliCAD (any IntelliCAD-compatible version 4.x and higher)
  • Inventor 8, 9, 10, 11. Autodesk Mechanical Desktop MDT6, 2004, 2004DX, 2005, 2006
  • KOMPAS-3D V8 Plus
  • NX/Unigraphics NX, NX2, NX3, NX4
  • OneSpace Designer Modeling 2005, 2006 (32-bit, 64-bit)
  • Pro/ENGINEER 2001, Wildfire, Wildfire 2.0, Wildfire 3.0
  • Solid Edge V16, V17, V18, V19
  • SolidWorks 2007
  • Mouse or other pointing device.
  • 128 Mb RAM minimum recommended.
    NOTE: Tablet PCs support eDrawings. You can use the pen to do electronic markups.
