Strength:
A good tool for converting and playing DVD; the quality is pretty nice. This tool could also help users to compress DVD into .divx format. The conversion speed is fast.

Weakness:
The update could not satisfy some users. There is something wrong with its Help files (actually, there is no Help file, but "ReadMe" files. some words are not correct).

Benefits:
When the installation is finally finished by the installation wizard, I was surprised to find that there are at least 3 tools bundled with it (I supposed there is only a DivX pro player). 
After checking the instruction did I know it was an all-in-one toolkit for DVD. There are several links for each tool and a general selection for links--considerate designs for users, if they do not learn much about this toolkit, a link to website guide does help them a lot.

As some users stated DivX Player is a high quality utility and that of conversion is also nice. This tool adopts EKG (electronikompressiongragh) as the encoding utility, which is an advanced facility offering unparalleled precision and control to refine visual quality to a better level.

It's a pity for Vista users as it could not be used on Vista system.  The RAM requires at least 512MB or higher; and the hard disk space is at least 5GB. These requirements are not hard to meet as a moderate computer's configurations are far beyond them.

DivX Pro is ease of use. This is an all-in-one toolkit for video files and the supported formats are very popular, thus satisfying users very much. You could convert a DVD to an avi format, a mov format as well as a wmv one. Some users comment it as a tool which combines MPEG and AVI into one. As MPEG is good for visual effects and AVI excels at video effects. At least this tool is worth experiencing.
