Ashampoo Media Player+, by Ashampoo GmbH is a FREE media player that will do everything you need it to do, and more. The program is easy-to-use, intuitive, and has a great "look" to it. It can handle a full range of audio and video files including WAV, MP3, MOD, Ogg, AVI, MP1, and more. The program can also utilize plugins which make it even more flexible.
Ashampoo Media Player+ makes it easy to burn music files to CD. In testing it out I created playlists and then could transfer those to CD with just a couple of mouse clicks. Really pretty slick. Another cool feature that I really liked is the ability to adjust the volume of each file, individually. I hate it when one song is too loud and then the next song is too quiet. Working with Ashampoo Media Player I was able to create a playlist, then adjust the volume level of each song so I had a playlist that had pretty much equal volume on all tracks. Burned a CD, played it in my car, and it was perfect! The program also utilizes dynamic playlists which means your playlists display the contents of actual folders on your computer. When you change the contents of the folder, the contents of the playlist change as well. That means less work. I found Ashampoo Media Player+ to be loaded with cool features and you can't beat the fact that it's free! Looking for an alternative music player? This might be your solution!
