This Advanced CD Player Product does not makes use of CDDA to rip audio data, but instead records the audio from the analog CD-ROM recording line. It is a low CPU power consumption program, and the CPU usage can be adjusted with little sacrifice of the sound quality. The recording sample rate can be adjusted but influences the performance of the program.

The ACD Standard Edition player requires a full duplex card that can handle simultaneous recording and playback of 44Khz 16 bit stereo streams. The sample rate and the soundcard input/output can be set in real-time, even when the music is playing. Therefore, under certain circumstances two half duplex cards can also be used. A sophisticated Equalizer with frequencies band assignments especially chosen to enhance your listening pleasure will give you excellent professional sound quality.The Equalizer works the same as with other Advanced CD Players products.
