Key Function Zone |
Step - 1. Change Program View
After running Software, You will see Picture - 1, which is the briefest interface. You can Click the view option in menu and choose to show common tasks bar, status bar, active tasks and other tools. For your Convenience, please change the program view from View menu first before you use the software. You can also change the interface viewing by click Tools -> Options -> Appearance, then change the fonts to make the interface more friendly. |

Step - 2 Key Feature Zone After getting a friendly interface, you can start to visit the key function it takes to you. The Key Feature Zone located in the middle of main window and view with blue background. By clicking the corresponding font, you can go to different functions. Following are brief introduction
Backup
By Clicking Backup, you can start to backup specific files or whole disc. Acronis True Image allows you to backup the entire disc including operating system. After you encounter any data losing, you can restore them from the backup file.
Recovery
After Click This option, you will go to data recovery process. Please note that you need to prepare backup archive to restore the lost data. Clone Disc
This option allows you to clone your hard disc by copying partitions to another hard disc. It is very useful when you want to remove a huge size files from you disc to another hard disc. Add New Disc
This function is to add a new hard disc to your PC. When you hard disc is not large enough to save data, you will need to use this function to prepare the new hard disc drive. Plug Image and Unplug Image
Plug Image function can view the backup archive as virtual drivers, thus letting you access them as though they were a physical drive, which means a new disc with its own letter will appear in the drives list and you can see image files with windows explorer and other file managers. (Please note that the virtual drive is read-only and you can NOT change anything within it. It is recommend that you should unplug a virtual disc after all necessary files are copied.)Check Archive
This function is to certain that your archives are not damaged. After finishing checking, you will see the result window. Show Log
Click this option to View record you have used Acronis True Image. Manage Acronis Secure Zone
Acronis Secure Zone is a special zone which is protected and inaccessible by ordinary windows applications. That ensures the backup archive saved there will not be corrupted. When you encounter system crash, you can reboot your PC with the data saved in Acronis Secure Zone. If you have not created Acronis Secure Zone, by clicking this option, you can create it. If you have created it before, you can increase or decrease the size of it through this option. Activating Acronis Startup Recovery Manger
Acronis Startup Recovery Manager allows you to run acronis true image before starting windows by pressing F11 at boot time and restore data from backup archive. Usually, after you create acronis secure zone, it will be automatically activated. Activate Tasks
You can create a schedule task by click this option. This function is mainly to backup your data which are changed between whiles. With this option, you won't have to remember the last time you created backups. Acronis True Image will do this for you to guarantee the safety of your data. |
