Guide: How to trim DVD video for BlackBerry
iMacsoft DVD to BlackBerry Converter provides video trim function, which allows you to choose a segment you like from the source video, and ripping them to the wanted formats. Before you use it to convert and trim your desired DVD, you need to prepare:
Note: The trial version you download from the website just show you the overview of iMacsoft DVD to BlackBerry Converter, with 3 minute time limit. If you wanna use it to convert the whole DVD movies serially, order DVD to BlackBerry Converter after trying it.
Add DVD Disc
Click Open DVD button, select a DVD in the dialog box that opens, and load it. The Loaded DVD information, such as chapter and title etc. will be showed in the file list. Or, click Open IFO Files button, select an IFO file in the file dialog box that opens, and load it.
Trim DVD video
- Select a video file in the file list, click Trim button in the toolbar to open Trim window, and start to trim the video.
- Click Play button to play selected video file.
- Click Set Start button to set the start point in the playback. When the video jumps to the end point you want, click Set End button to get a segment. You can drag the slider to adjust the position of Start and End point.
- After the above actions, click OK button to go back to the main interface and the segment will be marked a scissors icon.
Select output format and output folder
- Click Profile drop-down button, select an output format for selected files in the drop down list that opens. You can choose from BlackBerry format, common video and audio format etc..
To adjust output settings, you can set the detailed parameters of output format in the profile panel of left window.
- Click Browse button in setting panel, select a destination folder in the dialog box that opens, and click OK.
Extract and convert the trimmed DVD video
After finishing the above settings, check the needed file to extract in the file list, click Start Ripping button on the main interface, to start extracting the file. You can view the progress of the extracting process from the progress bar at the bottom of the window.
Now, you have finished the process of trimming DVD video by yourself. Your ripped and trimmed DVD video has been in your appointed output folder, you can easily playing them on your BlackBerry.
