Media Center Edition to Windows Media Video using Windows Media Player 10. Users can then watch their recorded
TV programs on portable media players including Windows Mobile-based Portable Media Centers.

Cyberlink PowerDVD SE for Windows XP offers CyberLink power plug-ins to allow play DVD, Play H.264 contents and MP3 Encoder for both Windows Media Player and Windows XP Media Center Edition. It also allows you to watch DVDs using
Windows Media Player to play and navigate your movies.
It does not
include PowerDVD's interface, advanced audio technologies,
or controls. Besides using
one of the best DVD decoders in the business,
the Cyberlink
PowerDVD SE for Windows XP will let users convert their MCE 2005
DVR-MS files (the DVR file format MCE uses to record TV programs)
into the more usable WMV format. In other words, you’ll be able to easily use WMV files on devices that don’t support DVR-MS or you
can take the more popular WMV file and transcode it to you favorite codecs like DivX and others. |
